In this type of valve, the flow of material is blocked by cups.
These valves are employed under specific tightness conditions and plug lifespan requirements. Such requirements are met because the seal housings are not exposed to severe abrasion caused by material flow in the valve. They need less inspection and replacement of internal parts.
