Increase the wear resistance of a flap in a double flap valve. The machine was installed in the outlet of electrostatic precipitators operating under negative pressure.
We applied a chromium carbide HVOF thermal-sprayed coating to the surface in contact with the seat seal ring.
Longer flap service life, less seal ring wear and reduced maintenance cost.
Hardness achieved: 1100 HV300
